Playing the Festival
Thank you for your interest in our event.
We will not be accepting applications to play the 2024 Festival.
We have a list of well over 600 songwriters who have applied to play and/or have played the Festival in the past and will work from this list to determine our songwriters for this year's Festival. We anticipate hosting well under 200 songwriters this year, so the chore of deciding who that will consist of is daunting.
We wish we could have everyone that wants to, to come and play. However, there is far more talent than we have the ability to stage. We wish every songwriter, everywhere all the best and plan to do all we can to continue to shine a spotlight on you,

Please note, there will be Open Mic sessions at the Flora-Bama, our headquarters venue, almost every afternoon of the festival. This is a walk in, sign up, get up and play set up. It's a great way for songwriters not officially in the festival to get their music heard. There will be a schedule for the Open Mic sessions on the website around mid October. We would love to have you join us for this part of the festival.
