Award winning Singer Songwriter, Karen E. Reynolds, performs at premier venues, performance series’ and high profile festivals (Nashville’s Bluebird Cafe, Atlanta’s Eddie’s Attic, Mississippi Songwriters Festival, and the cherished Ford Theater/Country Music Hall of Fame) and has shared the stage with many industry luminaries. With a style described as, “Americana Heart & Southern Soul”, and compared by the media to the likes of Mary Chapin-Carpenter, James Taylor, Carole King and Linda Ronstadt, Karen has been coined as, “a consummate performer who can command any audience”, and with varying descriptions, calling her “hearty voiced” one moment and claiming her to have the “voice of an angel” the next. Karen signed her first publishing agreement in 2007 which brought attention from independent and major labels. She regularly writes with nationally recognized artists/songwriters, and has built a respectable list of cuts, as well as, major label holds with the likes of Kenny Chesney and Alan Jackson. A respected music industry consultant, Karen is host/program director of Writers Block, a radio program airing for 19 years, is a sought after speaker and workshop presenter at music industry events, and has taught songwriting/music business for a variety of organizations and universities. Karen also leads and serves as the Director/Developer for the FBISF In-Schools Outreach Program, bringing curriculum based songwriting instruction to area schools.
With 5 independently produced albums on the market, Karen’s latest release, ‘Paper Castles’, is receiving airplay nationwide and on over 400 radio stations abroad.
