Lucas, Neal

Neal Lucas is a singer/songwriter/guitarist who was raised on a small cattle farm in the backwoods of Talbot County, Georgia. His sound is filled with the spirit of the southern roots/blues tradition and his songs reflect the full spectrum of his human experience. Neal’s influences range from Precious Bryant, the Allman Brothers Band, and Gov’t Mule to Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, and Jason Isbell.
Neal routinely travels across the South and has opened in support of a variety of national acts from B.B. King to Travis Tritt. He has released two albums; “Hold It Up High” with the Neal Lucas Band in 2011 and a solo effort “New Day” in 2014. Neal is looking forward to releasing a new collection of songs in early 2018.
